I first heard about Nikolai's Jadeite Fire Sword charm during House of Intention/Aloha Elixir's crystal live sale at the beginning of the year, but didn't think to purchase it until it finally clicked in my mind why I couldn't stop coming back to it: I have a lot of creative work/writing-related developments, including published work, coming out this year. If I am recalling correctly, Keoki of HOI/AE had mentioned the fire sword could provide protection (especially in business) which is what I have always been called toward as someone healing from a childhood of turbulent/repressed emotions. My writing pieces being released this year have to do with more vulnerable topics, so having this around my wrist provides a shield for me.
The bracelet itself fits perfectly, and I appreciate how the silk cord is adjustable, meaning anyone could wear it. This may be a small detail, but I also adore how the tip of the sword isn't sharp; it has a curved point, and not sharp enough to cause harm when being worn. As soon as I put it on, I felt a sense of calm come over me. Whether this was a placebo or not, I am grateful I am in a place where I can support Nikolai with a purchase and allow myself the beauty of owning (now) multiple Jadeite pieces.
